Death Doula and Soul Companion

Guided by Care. Rooted in Love. Honoring the Journey.

Welcome,

My name is Carla, and I am a Certified Death Doula, Grief Educator and Hospice volunteer offering emotional, spiritual, and relational support at the end of life. My path towards becoming a doula, and creating my company, Learn to Love, LLC, grew from a glimmer of light during my own personal experience with death and grief. I hope to help people feel less alone during this sacred time.

I believe that our first breath holds as much power as the last. I honor all transitions with love, compassion and knowledge. My role is to support individuals and families through the end-of-life transition with intention and an open heart. Through gentle companionship, legacy and vigil exploration, and end-of-life education and planning, I hope to create a safe space for death and grief to be a part of life.

A death doula (or end-of-life doula) is a trained, non-medical professional who provides holistic emotional, physical, and spiritual support to dying individuals and their love ones.
